- I'm a "maker" in many fields ... a little description of the use of SL by me is in my blog.
- About Me:
- Maya Thor is my female avatar created in SL in 2007, when I logged in the first time.
I am architect and urban planner, resident in Rome, Italy. I have taught for 10 years at italian Architecture Faculties as Contract Professor: freehand sketching, 2D & 3D, traditional and digital ways. I am making a research in the field of 3D tools and 3D Virtual Worlds applied in project process and post project ... I explore the different uses and users of 3d immersive platforms. The aim of the research is to understand how these kind of tools and media are influencing the project process and how the needs of the users are influencing the development of these tools.
I am a user of SL and in free time I design buildings, installations, landscapes and I make fashion outfits and accessories.

Helfe Ihnen added a blog postI am very happy, that our group of art lovers grows. In April we had 500 Members and today Nov 10, 09 we are 650. Minus 150 that logged in last 2 month before, there are 500 ACTIVE MEMBERS. Most of them academics.

I visited this yesterday and loved the complexity within the simplicity. Takes the idea of earthworks and land art to a whole new level. It must have been great to have such a large canvas to work with in EoO sim.
