About Me:: Jori Tokyo is a virtual sound-artist in the fields of cyberpunk, breakcore and experimental electronica. Since 2004 she release and perform her sounds on the internet at contemporary media like Second Life, MySpace, LastFM and few social networks for artists.

Jori Tokyo appears nearly complete in her digital, virtual form as avatar. In the time from 2000 till 2007 she was active member of the media-art-group Pomodoro Bolzano. 2005 she earned a cultural prize of the city of Regensburg (Ratisbon).

Her music is defined as experimental cyberpunk. The play with many broken parallel beatlines, elements of glitch and noise also heavy modified synthesizers are the essence of each track.

I am very happy, that our group of art lovers grows. In April we had 500 Members and today Nov 10, 09 we are 650. Minus 150 that logged in last 2 month before, there are 500 ACTIVE MEMBERS. Most of them academics.

I visited this yesterday and loved the complexity within the simplicity. Takes the idea of earthworks and land art to a whole new level. It must have been great to have such a large canvas to work with in EoO sim.
